Even More Powerful 249cc Dual Injection Engine
Power, acceleration, and overall performance have all been ratcheted up for the 2013 model. The result of a redesigned cylinder head with straighter intake tract for more direct airflow from the airbox to the combustion chamber in addition to an updated digital fuel injection with industry-first upstream dual injector for more power at higher RPMs.
Front Brake
For 2013, the front brake has been updated with a new push-rod cylinder and new brake pads for a stronger bite and greater control.
2nd Gen Showa Separate Function Fork
The 2nd Generation Showa Separate Function Fork is all-new for 2013, and available exclusively from Kawasaki. Settings based on height, weight, and personal preference can all be adjusted with the simple turn of a wrench.

STYLING
With new silver engine covers and lightweight alumite-coated black rims, the KX250F maintains its race-replica look longer. The transition from the seat to the fuel tank is flatter allowing for greater range of motion for the rider, while a slimmer aluminum frame handles lighter, causes less fatigue, and produces a more streamlined look.
ADJUSTABLE POWER MODES
Three provided DFI couplers for Standard, Hard (terrain) and Soft (terrain) can be changed quickly and easily in seconds to customize the power feel.
Exhaust Pipe Resonator
New for 2013, the exhaust pipe resonator increases low to mid-range power and leads into a new aggressively-shaped and shortened KX450F-style muffler.
